I began liaising with LD Network in January 2021 when I became a Service Manager with Mencap. LD Network arranged a meet and greet call to get to grips of what I required from them and how they could support us in the most person-centred way; best for the people we support and our services. They ensured an open line of communication at all times, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Any concerns raised were listened to and acted on to ensure the calibre of their staff is at the highest. The likelihood of cover they can provide at such short notice is amazing. During the pandemic, we worked with LD Network, and they were responsive to our needs. They communicated with us regularly from the beginning, kept us up to date with which staff members they had available and ensured they were a match for the people we support. Due to the specific needs of one individual, we support, we went on to have a long-term relationship with LD Networks, and this person really liked one of their staff who was a good match, and this member of staff continues to help out on occasions now. It has been a very good working relationship, and they were able to support our highly person-centred work with their flexible approach.
