The goal of The LD Network is to build a network of families, students, schools, and professionals to create a free online resource to help students with learning disabilities identify schools and services that best cater to their individual and unique needs. The idea for the site was created by a family that has been through a long and successful journey with a child affected by a learning disability. The site was built by a family with the mission of helping other families.
The LD Network project needs to go beyond all of the current websites and focus on generating the most real, honest, and valuable information possible. This is information from real life people that live within the learning disability community on a daily basis. With the goal of creating new information beyond a traditional linking website, The LD Network will create a very valuable resource for people within all aspects of the LD community.
